Aeris is excited to announce its new Director of Ratings!

Aeris is excited to introduce Aeris’ new Director of Ratings, Jen Miller. Jen joined Aeris in 2021, first as a contract ratings analyst, transitioning to a full-time staff member in early 2025. Since then, she has assumed growing responsibilities for Aeris’ ratings activities.

Jen came to Aeris with more than 15 years of experience in community development finance and commercial banking. Prior to joining Aeris, she served as a Commercial Relationship Manager at a regional bank, where she led business development and portfolio management efforts to build, maintain, and expand client relationships across her market. She has worked in credit administration and underwriting with a few regional banks and credit unions throughout the Pacific Northwest. Jen lives in Bend, Oregon with her husband and two children.

Over the coming months, Jen will be reaching out to introduce herself to Aeris ratees and to learn more about their experiences with Aeris.

With Jen stepping into her new role, Karen Seabury, Aeris’ long-serving Director of Ratings, has transitioned to a Senior Advisor. In that role, she will serve as one of Aeris’ subject matter experts and continue as a chair and voting member of our ratings committees. Karen’s tenure with Aeris goes back to our founding in 2004 when she served as one of Aeris’ original contract ratings analysts before transitioning to our Director of Ratings in 2013. Karen’s contributions to Aeris have been enormous! We are grateful that we will continue to have access to her expertise and insights.
