Aeris Announces New Board Members Joanne Gan and Liz Sessler
PHILADELPHIA, PA, June 7, 2023—Aeris Insight, Inc. announced today the appointment of two new governing board members: Joanne Gan, Head of Impact Investing & ESG, Treasury at PayPal and Liz Sessler, Chief Operating Officer at CapShift. Both were elected at the May meeting of the Aeris board of directors.

As Head of Impact Investing & ESG, Treasury at PayPal, Joanne Gan oversees investment commitments to advance racial and gender equity for the digital payments platform operator, which has 325 million active account holders. Ms. Gan has spent more than a decade advancing impact and community investing through roles at Deutsche Bank, Bridges Fund Management, and Kiva.
Liz Sessler is a founding executive team member at CapShift, a registered investment advisor that helps philanthropic and financial institutions deliver impact investing solutions to clients, where she oversees technology and product, client experience, and marketing. Ms. Sessler’s career has spanned roles at ImpactUS, Enterprise Community Partners, and Calvert Impact.
